Dosu John, the goalie coach for Shooting Stars, is furious about his team’s loss to Lobi Stars.
At the Lafia City Stadium, the Oluyole Warriors fell short of their hosts, 2-1.
Dosu said that Shooting Stars should have won the game instead of losing.
But he urged the players to start winning again in their subsequent league match.
Dosu posted on his X handle, “Not the result we wanted, we deserved more than the defeat.”
“Let’s play Heartland in our next game; they have to fall in Ibadan.”
This weekend, Shooting Stars will play their next league match at Adamasingba, Ibadan’s Lekan Salami Stadium against Heartland.
The Ibadan club has 17 points from 10 games, good for third place in the NPFL standings at the moment.
