Davis signed a $6,000,000, two-year contract with Chicago. In his seven appearances with Chicago in 2019, he ran for 25 yards on 11 tries and caught seven passes for 22 yards. On November 9, Chicago released him.
On November 11, Carolina grabbed him off waivers. In five games with Carolina in 2019, he saw action and gained two yards on two throws.
In 2020, Davis had 15 appearances, accumulating 642 yards on 165 carries and six touchdowns. In addition, he caught 59 passes for 373 yards and two scores.
