One of the worst moments of the Tennessee Vols’ 2023 season was easily wide receiver Bru McCoy’s brutal season-ending injury that occurred during UT’s win against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
McCoy suffered a fracture and dislocated ankle after getting tackled in the second quarter against the Gamecocks.
The California native, who quickly became a fan favorite in Knoxville after transferring from USC ahead of the 2022 season, missed the rest of the 2023 season due to the injury.
